This page (together with any other web pages or documents referred to on it) tells you the terms and conditions on which we supply the products ("Products") listed on our website www.belleinteriors.co.uk ("Website") to you. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before ordering any products from our Website. You should understand that by ordering any of our products, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. You should print a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference. Belle Interiors reserves the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions at any time.

We may pass your contact details to our couriers, unless you advise us differently, in case they need to contact you regarding delivery. We want to keep you updated on our latest products and services, so we may subscribe you via your email address to our monthly newsletter. We may contact you with regards to arranging your order, delivery, and in case of any problems.

We will make every effort to keep your details secure, however we cannot be held responsible for any loss suffered from a third party gaining unauthorised access to any data you provide when ordering from our website.

Written communications

Applicable laws require that some of the information or communications we send to you should be in writing. When using our Website, you accept that communication with us will be mainly electronic. We will contact you by e-mail or provide you with information by posting notices on our website. For contractual purposes, you agree to this electronic means of communication and you acknowledge that all contracts, notices, information and other communications that we provide to you electronically comply with any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

Events outside our control

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure (or delay) in performing, any of our obligations under a Contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Ordering

To place an order we require the following details: name, contact telephone number, email address, credit/debit card number and card expiry date.

To confirm an order online you must receive a confirmation email.

To confirm an order made in-store or over the telephone.

We will make every effort to complete every order, excepting the following circumstances:

  • Products being out of stock, discontinued and thus unavailable
  • Products being priced or described in error
  • If we cannot gain authorisation for payment
  • Customer failure to adhere to the Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to cancel any pending purchases at any time.

Lead times on furniture may be between 7 to 13 weeks on certain pieces e.g. suppliers whose products come from abroad. We will contact you within 7 weeks with an expected date of delivery to us. Occasionally circumstances such as adverse weather or supply issues we are unable to meet this time frame. In this situation you are fully entitled to a full refund.

We may refuse to process a transaction or our services at any time at our sole discretion.

Orders from outside the UK

All products are subject to VAT at the applicable UK rate from time to time. Where VAT is not chargeable on the sale, we will reimburse the VAT element of the transaction but not any VAT on delivery or other charges. Please also note that you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the products are destined. We will not be liable for any breach by you of any such laws.

Bespoke Pieces/Made to order items

Certain items that are commissioned especially for you will have their own lead times. Upon receipt of your order a non-refundable deposit of 50% will be required in the case of cancellation of the order.

Quality control

Belle Interiors strives to source products that are quality. If the customer believes that any of our products are not of a satisfactory quality we must be immediately notified on 0208 467 0290. We may require clear photographs of any alleged defects for assessment purposes.

Measurements

We advise clients to measure carefully before ordering, as well as considering access points for large items including stairways and narrow passage points.

Refunds

We hope that you will be very happy with your purchase, but if you change your mind you are entitled to return your order within up to seven working days of the date/time the customer or customer representative receives and signs for the goods. We will only issue refunds if the items are in the same condition as when they were received. Items excluded from this policy include bespoke items. Any costs or damage incurred during transport are non-refundable. The customer bears all return delivery costs. Customers can use Belle Interiors couriers or a courier of their choice. We will process the refund after the goods have been received and inspected to check they remain in their original condition. Refunds are not offered after the seven day period expires.

All prices displayed are in Pounds Sterling and inclusive of European Union Sales Tax at the prevailing rate.

Each product purchased is sold subject to its product description. We endeavour to ensure all product details including price, description and dimensions are correct at the time of uploading. We also endeavour to keep the site as up to date as possible. We reserve the right to withdraw any products from this Website at any time and/or remove or edit any materials or content on this Website. We will not be liable to you or any third party due to withdrawal of any product or service from our website regardless of whether the product/service has been sold, however in the circumstance we are unable to supply a product/service we will refund you in full.

Product images are for representation purposes only and cannot reflect true colours or scale. We recommend you visit us in store where we have a range of paint and fabric samples for a more accurate guide. In the instance of a product being crafted by hand, hand painted or finished in an antique or distressed style, small discrepancies in colour or finish may occur due to the unique nature of the product. Products may be pictured with props (e.g. beds dressed with mattresses) however these are not included with the product unless specified.

Using the Website

New customers

First time users of our website will need to create a new user account by filling in their contact and delivery details.

Existing customers

If you would like to manage your account or place a new order, you will need to enter your login details. If you have forgotten your password we can email your password hint.

Checkout

You can change the quantity or remove items at any time and review the entire order before proceeding through the checkout.

Security

For your own protection, once you proceed to place your order you will be re-directed to the "Verify by Visa / MasterCard" Secure Code website for credit card verification. You will automatically be returned to our site when this process is complete.

Promotional Codes

From time to time Belle Interiors may offer promotional codes which can be redeemed against purchases made on our website or in store. One purchase per customer only with promotional codes. Shipping charges, gift tokens and sale items are exempt from offers. Offers are for personal use only and not for resale or publication, and are subject to acceptance under the Belle Interiors Terms and Conditions. If you have a promotional code, this can be entered at the "order options " page. You will need to click the update button for any discounts or promotions to be activated on the order.

You will receive a Checkout Complete message and an email confirmation once your order has been completed.

To legally purchase products on our website the following conditions must be met by customers:

  • A web user account must be created through providing a real and correct full name, phone number, email address, payment details including registered card address and other requested information. Any information found to be incorrect on a user account such as a false name or address will render any orders with Belle Interiors as invalid
  • For UK deliveries, addresses entered must be fully registered in the United Kingdom, PO boxes, hotels and accommodation addresses are not acceptable and will cause any orders with Belle Interiors to be rendered invalid
  • Customers must be 18 or more years of age
  • Customers must possess a valid debit or credit card issued by a bank acceptable to us, and through use of this card when paying for orders hereby confirm that the card is theirs
  • By ordering a product from us you authorise us to transmit or obtain information about you from third parties from time to time, including but not limited to your debit/credit card number or credit reports, to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions

Gift Tokens

Belle Interiors Gift Tokens are redeemable against any merchandise in store or online.

Gift Tokens are non- transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

For purchases in store, where Gift Tokens offered have a a greater value than the goods being purchased, credit notes will be issued for the remainder of the balance.

Gift Tokens must be submitted upon redemption in store or serial code stated when ordering online.

Gift Tokens will expire on the date marked on the Gift Token.

Gift Tokens presented after their expiry date will be treated as void and are non-exchangeable and non-refundable. Belle Interiors reserves the right to refuse a Gift Token which it deems to have been tampered with, duplicated, damaged or which otherwise is suspected to be affected from fraud.

Gift Tokens are issued by Belle Interiors, 17 Royal Parade, Chislehurst Kent BR7 6NR.

Payment

Payment for all orders is at point of sale and not at point of despatch.

All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate correct at the time of uploading to the website.

The total cost of your order is the sum of the product price plus delivery charges which vary according to location. All cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer.

If for any reason the issuer of your credit/debit card does not authorise payment to us we will not be liable for any delay or non - delivery. By purchasing from Belle Interiors the customer indemnifies Belle Interiors against any liabilities that may be caused by misuse of products sold by Belle Interiors.

Deliveries

Standard Delivery Charges Inside the M25

  • Small Furniture Items, £35
  • Large Furniture Items, £60

Outside the M25

  • Small Furniture Items, £35 plus variable delivery charge depending on delivery location
  • Large Furniture Items, £60 plus variable delivery charge depending on delivery location

The exact price of delivery will be confirmed by a member of staff when a delivery address is provided.

Belle Interiors is committed to keeping delivery charges low.

International Deliveries

Where the customer intends to ship goods abroad or to any of the isles off the British mainland, it is the customer's responsibility to check that there are no problems with the goods before they are shipped. Belle Interiors cannot be held liable for any problems found after the goods have been handed to other carriers for onward shipment.

If you order Products from our Website for delivery outside the UK, they may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.

Delivery Times

We will always try and deliver furniture with two to four weeks of receiving it into our premises on a convenient day for both parties. You will be contacted to arrange a date and time of delivery. Belle Interiors will notify you by email/phone when your order has been dispatched to you. Items sent by standard delivery should arrive between 3 to 5 working days. Once the items have been dispatched Belle Interiors can take no responsibility for late or deliveries due to negligence on behalf of the courier.

Damaged Goods

If an item is received in a damaged condition the customer must inform the driver and telephone Belle Interiors immediately (leaving a voice message if outside office hours). If the customer fails to notify us immediately upon delivery, a replacement and refund may not be offered.
